Narrative:
I was on final and listening to controller tell another aircraft traffic to follow. He was told I was a cessna (only high wing in pattern). He said he saw traffic and turns base. Controller gave my location again as 12 O'clock (ATC sounds concerned). I lift my right wing to find aircraft descending on me. I immediately put the plane in a hard bank and dived. The plane was given go around instructions, and began a shallow bank. Due to length of runway I was able to recover and land long. Other pilot appeared to be a student with serious radio procedure problems. I feel that he may have never been taught to do a non standard pattern ie, extended downwind etc, or what to do in a near miss situation. Pilot may not be familiar or just plain scared of controled airspace. Pilot may also need to learn the difference between cessnas and mooneys.

Title: NMAC BTWN A SEL CESSNA ON A 1 MI FINAL AND ANOTHER ACFT TURNING FROM BASE TO FINAL IN FRONT OF THE CESSNA. BOTH ACFT TOOK EVASIVE ACTION. THE OTHER ACFT WAS INSTRUCTED TO FOLLOW THE CESSNA AND MAINTAIN VISUAL SEPARATION.
