Narrative:
I was spraying a field of beans. In the last pass, I hit a rural electric wire. I broke 3 of the 4 wires on the line. The airplane had minor damage to the spray system, but no damage to the airframe and engine. No report was made to the NTSB. Estimated total damage is $500.

Title: A GA AGRICULTURE PLT HITS ELECTRICAL WIRES WHILE ON A SPRAY RUN. THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE SPRAY RIG, BUT NOT TO THE ACFT. CESSNA 188.
Narrative: I WAS SPRAYING A FIELD OF BEANS. IN THE LAST PASS, I HIT A RURAL ELECTRIC WIRE. I BROKE 3 OF THE 4 WIRES ON THE LINE. THE AIRPLANE HAD MINOR DAMAGE TO THE SPRAY SYS, BUT NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRFRAME AND ENG. NO RPT WAS MADE TO THE NTSB. ESTIMATED TOTAL DAMAGE IS $500.
