Narrative:
Cruising at FL350, cleared to descend to FL270. Captain set altitude in window and began descent. At FL270 center asked our altitude and said he had cleared us to FL280, but to now maintain FL270. We asked if we had a problem or conflict and he said no problem.

Narrative: CRUISING AT FL350, CLRED TO DSND TO FL270. CAPT SET ALT IN WINDOW AND BEGAN DSCNT. AT FL270 CTR ASKED OUR ALT AND SAID HE HAD CLRED US TO FL280, BUT TO NOW MAINTAIN FL270. WE ASKED IF WE HAD A PROB OR CONFLICT AND HE SAID NO PROB.
