Narrative:

We landed in lax with minimal fuel. Over phoenix we were forecasted to land in lax with 4.1 pounds of fuel (reserves flight planned at 3.7). At approximately 100 mi out from lax, ATC slowed us to 250 KTS. The controller reported minimal delays into lax. The WX went from 1100 ft overcast to 500 ft overcast due to fog. At approximately 50 mi out, ATC slowed us to 160 KTS. At approximately 30 mi out, ATC slowed us to 140 KTS and gave us a vector to intercept runway 24R localizer and cleared us to 4500 ft. ATC then informed us to continue our descent to 4000 ft, continue on the localizer and plan for resequencing. We continued at 4000 ft for 15 mi at 140 KTS. We asked ATC for an increase in speed and a vector for resequencing. The controller handed us off to another frequency. Checking on with the controller, we informed him that we had minimal fuel. He vectored us into a downwind position. The controller informed us to plan on an 18 mi final and that we would be #4 for the approach. We decided to declare critical fuel to get priority to the airport. We landed with 2500 pounds of fuel, approximately 25 mins of fuel.

Title: AN ACR MLG LANDED AT LAX WITH LESS THAN RESERVE FUEL. WX FACTORS FOG AND LOW CEILING.

Narrative: WE LANDED IN LAX WITH MINIMAL FUEL. OVER PHOENIX WE WERE FORECASTED TO LAND IN LAX WITH 4.1 LBS OF FUEL (RESERVES FLT PLANNED AT 3.7). AT APPROX 100 MI OUT FROM LAX, ATC SLOWED US TO 250 KTS. THE CTLR RPTED MINIMAL DELAYS INTO LAX. THE WX WENT FROM 1100 FT OVCST TO 500 FT OVCST DUE TO FOG. AT APPROX 50 MI OUT, ATC SLOWED US TO 160 KTS. AT APPROX 30 MI OUT, ATC SLOWED US TO 140 KTS AND GAVE US A VECTOR TO INTERCEPT RWY 24R LOC AND CLRED US TO 4500 FT. ATC THEN INFORMED US TO CONTINUE OUR DSCNT TO 4000 FT, CONTINUE ON THE LOC AND PLAN FOR RESEQUENCING. WE CONTINUED AT 4000 FT FOR 15 MI AT 140 KTS. WE ASKED ATC FOR AN INCREASE IN SPD AND A VECTOR FOR RESEQUENCING. THE CTLR HANDED US OFF TO ANOTHER FREQ. CHKING ON WITH THE CTLR, WE INFORMED HIM THAT WE HAD MINIMAL FUEL. HE VECTORED US INTO A DOWNWIND POS. THE CTLR INFORMED US TO PLAN ON AN 18 MI FINAL AND THAT WE WOULD BE #4 FOR THE APCH. WE DECIDED TO DECLARE CRITICAL FUEL TO GET PRIORITY TO THE ARPT. WE LANDED WITH 2500 LBS OF FUEL, APPROX 25 MINS OF FUEL.
