Narrative:
Control said we were 5 mi off airway and he had to stop us at 14000 ft instead of 10000 ft plus turned us toward the airway. I think we were turning toward the airway, but just not enough bank for the winds aloft.

Title: ATC HAD TO STOP DSCNT BECAUSE MLG HAD DRIFTED OFF AIRWAY.
Narrative: CTL SAID WE WERE 5 MI OFF AIRWAY AND HE HAD TO STOP US AT 14000 FT INSTEAD OF 10000 FT PLUS TURNED US TOWARD THE AIRWAY. I THINK WE WERE TURNING TOWARD THE AIRWAY, BUT JUST NOT ENOUGH BANK FOR THE WINDS ALOFT.
