Narrative:

Taxiing out of the ramp area, the left wingtip hit a fuel truck. There normally is enough room to clear the airplanes and the ground traffic on a road defining the boundary of the ramp. But with a fuel truck in front of the airplane and a bus on the road, taxi space became very limited. I feel that ramp congestion was one of the contributing factors in the wingtip strike. Allowing more room in this area for taxi would have helped avoid the incident. Another factor was the fact that I incorrectly judged the distance between the wing and the fuel truck. Having a wing walker would've also helped avoid the incident.
