Narrative:

Our flight was cleared for takeoff on runway 1 in teb. Tower also cleared a helicopter to overfly runway 1 and land on the ramp. This situation was highly hazardous for it put the landing helicopter overflying a departing jet. The extent of evasive action that we were able to take was my having the first officer, PF, delay the takeoff until the helicopter was clear. This type of conflict is common in teb.

Title: A LR35 ACFT DEPARTING RWY 1 AT TEB DELAYS ROTATION UNTIL A HELI XING THE RWY IS CLR. THE PLT CLAIMS THIS TYPE OF CONFLICT IS COMMON AT TEB.

Narrative: OUR FLT WAS CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 1 IN TEB. TWR ALSO CLRED A HELI TO OVERFLY RWY 1 AND LAND ON THE RAMP. THIS SIT WAS HIGHLY HAZARDOUS FOR IT PUT THE LNDG HELI OVERFLYING A DEPARTING JET. THE EXTENT OF EVASIVE ACTION THAT WE WERE ABLE TO TAKE WAS MY HAVING THE FO, PF, DELAY THE TKOF UNTIL THE HELI WAS CLR. THIS TYPE OF CONFLICT IS COMMON IN TEB.
