Narrative:

On an IFR flight from hfd, ct, it was planned with a fuel stop in mem, tn, then on to sat, tx, final destination. Breakdown in CRM between captain and first officer. Captain chose to pass up mem and try to continue on to sat knowing we had not enough fuel to make the trip legally. I failed as a pilot and copilot to convince the captain to stop for a fuel stop. About 50 mi outside of sat on the descent, we got a low fuel light, soon followed by the right engine shutting down due to fuel starvation. We xferred what fuel was left into the operative engine and made it on into sat on 1 engine.
