Narrative:

At FL410 cruise, B757 left engine suddenly lost power, EPR to '0' egt and N1 rolled back. Engine recovered itself in 7-10 seconds and operated normally remainder of flight. Ignition was turned on (but do not know if it helped in recovery or not). Rest of flight was routine. (Maintenance found tenth stage bleed malfunction.) callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter said that he had never heard of an engine rollback in a B757-200 before this. However, during his radio and postflt conversations with maintenance representatives, he said that they mentioned the tenth stage bleed as a source of the problem. Later he was told that they had changed the tenth stage bleed control system on this P&west 2037 engine and it performed normally.
