Narrative:
In cruise at FL370, the right engine oil filter bypass light flickered for a min and then illuminated steady. We asked for and were given a lower altitude (FL330) and followed the irregular procedure for this occurrence. The light stayed on with the right throttle at idle and oil temperature climbed to 105 degrees (still well within limits). We left the right engine running and diverted to omaha. (We were en route denver to laguardia.) we consulted the company and landed uneventfully on runway 32L at omaha using single engine procedures.
