Narrative:

Was cleared to taxi from gate to runway 15R using taxiway a. Was cleared then via taxiway C to taxiway P because of pushed aircraft blocking taxiway a. Became confused and turned left at taxiway east, incurred upon runway 10 which was landing runway. Told copilot, 'clear left,' before entering on runway, and copilot responded 'clear right,' no aircraft on final. Realized that I was not supposed to be on any runways to get to runway 15R -- cleared rapidly on taxiway east on other side of runway 10 and stopped. Reported to ground control who gave us 2 right turns (on runway 15R, then on runway 10) and then left on taxiway east to clear. I am supposedly familiar with this airport, having been there more than 100 times during my career. Confusion over where taxiway P rejoined taxiway a was a contributing factor. I have never incurred upon an active runway before and will, if confused ever again with directions, will stop in place until situation is sorted out.

Narrative: WAS CLRED TO TAXI FROM GATE TO RWY 15R USING TXWY A. WAS CLRED THEN VIA TXWY C TO TXWY P BECAUSE OF PUSHED ACFT BLOCKING TXWY A. BECAME CONFUSED AND TURNED L AT TXWY E, INCURRED UPON RWY 10 WHICH WAS LNDG RWY. TOLD COPLT, 'CLR L,' BEFORE ENTERING ON RWY, AND COPLT RESPONDED 'CLR R,' NO ACFT ON FINAL. REALIZED THAT I WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ON ANY RWYS TO GET TO RWY 15R -- CLRED RAPIDLY ON TXWY E ON OTHER SIDE OF RWY 10 AND STOPPED. RPTED TO GND CTL WHO GAVE US 2 R TURNS (ON RWY 15R, THEN ON RWY 10) AND THEN L ON TXWY E TO CLR. I AM SUPPOSEDLY FAMILIAR WITH THIS ARPT, HAVING BEEN THERE MORE THAN 100 TIMES DURING MY CAREER. CONFUSION OVER WHERE TXWY P REJOINED TXWY A WAS A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR. I HAVE NEVER INCURRED UPON AN ACTIVE RWY BEFORE AND WILL, IF CONFUSED EVER AGAIN WITH DIRECTIONS, WILL STOP IN PLACE UNTIL SIT IS SORTED OUT.
