Narrative:

Shortly before landing at dtw; I observed laser beams from the ground. The point of origin of these beams was slightly to the right and ahead of the aircraft. I remarked to the first officer that these were laser beams and to not look directly at them. The beams scanned the sky as we flew past the source; shining directly at our aircraft several times. We mentioned this event to approach control. We continued on to dtw and landed uneventfully.
