Narrative:
While en route from dab to pie with a student completing his night dual and cross country, we were receiving flight following from dab departure control and switched over to orlando approach to obtain clearance through B airspace. Controller was very busy and we were told to stand by. During this time aircraft approached class B airspace and we got distracted in cockpit due to student-instructor interaction. I believe I failed to remember and remain aware of the great importance of situational awareness while instructing student. As we flew closer to orlando we probably penetrated class B before we realized our position. Getting 'caught up' in the student's questions and my explanations most likely contributed to this situation. We must never forget the old rule, aviate, navigation and communicate!!
