Narrative:
Upon passing the apan VOR/DME on the apan departure from mex, wrong radial was inadvertently dialed into window of CDI and subsequently flown outbound for approximately 20 mi. Mmex directed a heading of 60 degrees and cleared flight directly to villa intersection. The remainder of flight was uneventful.

Title: AN ACR B727 FLC GOT OFF COURSE WHEN THEY ENTERED THE WRONG VOR RADIAL IN THE CDI WINDOW. THE ALERT CTLR CORRECTED THEM AND GAVE THEM A CLRNC DIRECT TO THE NEXT INTXN.
