Narrative:
Takeoff was initiated from teb at approximately XA52 from runway 1. The ATIS was reporting 600 ft ceiling with 1/2 mi visibility, however, the ATIS was issued at XA00 -- almost 1 hour old and we were issued runway 1 for takeoff as were 2 other aircraft. The tower did not update the WX and I did not request an update. The snow had slowed and WX definitely improved. After careful research I believe we may have taken off on a runway with a published takeoff minimum of 700-1 which could have been a violation. An uneventful takeoff and departure followed. Our company operation specifications allow us to depart runway 6 only when WX is below 1 mi visibility which I have duly noted for future departures from teb.

Title: LTT TOOK OFF FROM TEB WITH MOST RECENT WX RPT, ALMOST AN HR OLD, OF 600 - ONE HALF. RPTR THINKS THE WX HAD IMPROVED BUT HIS COMPANY OPS SPECS REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 700-1 FOR THE RWY THEY USED.
