Narrative:
At msn, no control tower. Taxied on txwys F and G which are restr to military use only. I did not see any signs, markings or military aircraft. This occurred at XX40Z, mar/xx/97 in the middle of night. Put up military ramp and taxiway signs stating military use only! Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states he was taxiing from the ramp area between the ends of runway 22 and runway 26. He returned to runway 36 the same way he had taxied in which was taxiway F. There is no signage, no indication of restr taxi area and no military aircraft which he said would have given him some clue. It appears the fire rescue unit is the party that made the call to him indicating there is no taxi on taxiway F and G. He then quickly got out the diagram and saw the notation. This was late at night, early morning and the tower was closed. Reporter feels there should be some signs, some reflective paint that would show in the taxi lights indicating the restr taxi. He just saw a reflective paint at another airport which would have shown up brightly.

Title: AIR TAXI CARGO FLT TAXIES ON TXWY RESTR FOR MIL USE ONLY. SOMEONE FROM CFR CALLED TO NOTIFY THEM OF THE ERROR. TWR CLOSED AT THAT HR.
Narrative: AT MSN, NO CTL TWR. TAXIED ON TXWYS F AND G WHICH ARE RESTR TO MIL USE ONLY. I DID NOT SEE ANY SIGNS, MARKINGS OR MIL ACFT. THIS OCCURRED AT XX40Z, MAR/XX/97 IN THE MIDDLE OF NIGHT. PUT UP MIL RAMP AND TXWY SIGNS STATING MIL USE ONLY! CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATES HE WAS TAXIING FROM THE RAMP AREA BTWN THE ENDS OF RWY 22 AND RWY 26. HE RETURNED TO RWY 36 THE SAME WAY HE HAD TAXIED IN WHICH WAS TXWY F. THERE IS NO SIGNAGE, NO INDICATION OF RESTR TAXI AREA AND NO MIL ACFT WHICH HE SAID WOULD HAVE GIVEN HIM SOME CLUE. IT APPEARS THE FIRE RESCUE UNIT IS THE PARTY THAT MADE THE CALL TO HIM INDICATING THERE IS NO TAXI ON TXWY F AND G. HE THEN QUICKLY GOT OUT THE DIAGRAM AND SAW THE NOTATION. THIS WAS LATE AT NIGHT, EARLY MORNING AND THE TWR WAS CLOSED. RPTR FEELS THERE SHOULD BE SOME SIGNS, SOME REFLECTIVE PAINT THAT WOULD SHOW IN THE TAXI LIGHTS INDICATING THE RESTR TAXI. HE JUST SAW A REFLECTIVE PAINT AT ANOTHER ARPT WHICH WOULD HAVE SHOWN UP BRIGHTLY.
