Narrative:
I would like to report an incident on mar/sat/97 at about XA30 local at Q24 airport. I was giving instruction to a commercial student in a BE35 beech on soft field takeoffs on runway 35. I asked my student to make a soft field takeoff and to take the weight off the nose of the aircraft. The aircraft was over rotated and the tail struck the ground and the aircraft prematurely became airborne. The left wing dipped and I applied forward elevator and right aileron and the right wingtip struck the surface. The fiberglas tail cone was damaged with light damage to the right wingtip and a dent in the right aileron.
