Narrative:
During descent, in holding, water ran into the ACARS printer and shorted it out. This set off the SELCAL bell. During the confusion, the altimeters were not reset. ATC did not seem to mind as the problem was quickly corrected. No conflicts.

Title: THE FLC OF AN ACR MD80 APPARENTLY SPILLED WATER ON THE CTR AISLE STAND AND IT CAUSED AN ELECTRICAL SHORT THAT SET OFF THE SELCAL ALERT BELL. IN THE CONFUSION THE FLC FORGOT TO RESET THEIR ALTIMETERS DURING DSCNT AND LEVELED OFF AT OTHER THAN THEIR ASSIGNED ALT. NO CONFLICT.
