Narrative:
On mar/sat/97 I flew a trip which includes 2 round trip flts from myrtle beach, sc, to jfk to myr then ewr. I flew a total of 7.5 hours and was scheduled by the company dispatcher that I would complete a trip myr-ewr with an XA00 show time. Trip started at XE15 and ended at XQ35 and I was off duty 30 mins later at XR05. The company dispatcher assigned my original trip with an XA00 show time. I then explained that in order to do the scheduled trip the following morning that I would have to go on reduced rest in order to fly the trip the following morning. Both myself and the crew scheduler agreed on the rest required for the trip. Several days later I realized while filling in my logbook that I flew over 9 hours in a 24 hour period which requires 9 hours of reduced rest. I showed up for the trip at XB05 the next morning with only 8 hours of crew rest. I was short 1 hour of crew rest and flew the trip followed by 5 days off.
