Narrative:
While extending flaps to 1 degree setting, trailing edge flaps disagree message appeared on the EICAS screen. Referencing the FAA regulations, we declared an emergency with miami tower, and performed the trailing edge flap disagree procedure from the operating manual. After advising flight attendants, performing emergency landing checklists and all other checklists, landed without further incident or problems. Landed with flaps 20 degrees using alternate flap extension method as outlined in operating manual.

Title: B757 HAD WING FLAP DISAGREEMENT WARNING APPEAR ON EICAS SCREEN. FLAPS EXTENDED USING THE MANUAL METHOD AND REDUCED FLAP LNDG ACCOMPLISHED.
Narrative: WHILE EXTENDING FLAPS TO 1 DEG SETTING, TRAILING EDGE FLAPS DISAGREE MESSAGE APPEARED ON THE EICAS SCREEN. REFING THE FAA REGS, WE DECLARED AN EMER WITH MIAMI TWR, AND PERFORMED THE TRAILING EDGE FLAP DISAGREE PROC FROM THE OPERATING MANUAL. AFTER ADVISING FLT ATTENDANTS, PERFORMING EMER LNDG CHKLISTS AND ALL OTHER CHKLISTS, LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT OR PROBS. LANDED WITH FLAPS 20 DEGS USING ALTERNATE FLAP EXTENSION METHOD AS OUTLINED IN OPERATING MANUAL.
