Narrative:
On ord SID assigned 5000 ft after takeoff. On second turn to on course fix, as PF, overshot 5000 ft by 300 ft, on leveloff, after missing 1000 ft to go warning from the first officer. After responding to the controller's query during leveloff we returned to 5000 ft. No further comments were made by the controller as we didn't appear to cause a conflict, nor did we have any TCASII RA's. We continued normally to tpa.
