Narrative:

On an IFR flight plan we were doing touch-and-goes at 2 airports before returning to azo. We were given missed approach instructions by lan approach and told to contact jxn tower. My instructor and I had thought we were cleared touch-and-go but we were cleared to land. After touch-and-go at jxn we were informed that we were cleared to land only and continued with the missed approach procedure.
