Narrative:
Flight is a daily scheduled passenger flight from mry to sfo departing at XA20. Clearance delivery gave the following clearance, 'cleared to san francisco via radar vector to skunk, boldr, as filed, climb and maintain 7000 ft, squawk XXXX.' my first officer read the entire clearance back, word for word. Upon takeoff, tower said did we get the monterey 7 departure. We said no. He said that all sfo flts get that departure. I asked what he would like us to do. He said turn left to 295 degrees, call departure. He said there was no traffic conflict. He did sound doubtful, though, about the veracity of our claim of not receiving the monterey 7 departure. Frankly, I think clearance delivery made the error. We did write down what we heard. We read back what we heard. Did clearance delivery even listen to our readback?

Title: MLG FLT IS NOT ISSUED SID BY CLRNC DELIVERY WHEN IFR CLRNC IS ISSUED. FLT DEPARTS AND LCL CTLR ASKS IF THEY GOT THE SID AS 'ALL SFO FLTS GET THAT DEP.'
Narrative: FLT IS A DAILY SCHEDULED PAX FLT FROM MRY TO SFO DEPARTING AT XA20. CLRNC DELIVERY GAVE THE FOLLOWING CLRNC, 'CLRED TO SAN FRANCISCO VIA RADAR VECTOR TO SKUNK, BOLDR, AS FILED, CLB AND MAINTAIN 7000 FT, SQUAWK XXXX.' MY FO READ THE ENTIRE CLRNC BACK, WORD FOR WORD. UPON TKOF, TWR SAID DID WE GET THE MONTEREY 7 DEP. WE SAID NO. HE SAID THAT ALL SFO FLTS GET THAT DEP. I ASKED WHAT HE WOULD LIKE US TO DO. HE SAID TURN L TO 295 DEGS, CALL DEP. HE SAID THERE WAS NO TFC CONFLICT. HE DID SOUND DOUBTFUL, THOUGH, ABOUT THE VERACITY OF OUR CLAIM OF NOT RECEIVING THE MONTEREY 7 DEP. FRANKLY, I THINK CLRNC DELIVERY MADE THE ERROR. WE DID WRITE DOWN WHAT WE HEARD. WE READ BACK WHAT WE HEARD. DID CLRNC DELIVERY EVEN LISTEN TO OUR READBACK?
