Narrative:
Pilot of helicopter giving rides and flew down river to view home of passenger. Struck power line crossing river, poles were hid by trees on both sides of river. No ball markings on power line which is near a county state park. Pilot landed on sandbar. No injuries at time of incident.

Title: PLT OF HELI HITS PWR LINE TRAVERSING A RIVER. PLT WAS ON A LOW ALT FLT FOR A PAX TO VIEW HIS HOME.
Narrative: PLT OF HELI GIVING RIDES AND FLEW DOWN RIVER TO VIEW HOME OF PAX. STRUCK PWR LINE XING RIVER, POLES WERE HID BY TREES ON BOTH SIDES OF RIVER. NO BALL MARKINGS ON PWR LINE WHICH IS NEAR A COUNTY STATE PARK. PLT LANDED ON SANDBAR. NO INJURIES AT TIME OF INCIDENT.
