Narrative:
Passenger did not receive a special meal. I told him we did not have the meal. He verbally, and physically assaulted me. Something needs to be done to stop this abuse on flight attendants. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states the passenger was quite upset and after reporter explained the situation, he walked away to continue his duties. The passenger got up and yelled at him, then hit him from the back. Passenger began yelling obscenities. Reporter went forward to tell the captain of the incident and auths met the aircraft. There were 3 witnesses who spoke with the police and gave their statements. Reporter filed a company report and received a call from his supervisor complimenting him on his handling of the situation. He is not aware of any further action.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT REGARDING AN UNRULY PAX WHO PHYSICALLY AND VERBALLY ABUSED THE FLT ATTENDANT. THE INCIDENT CTRED AROUND THE LACK OF A SPECIAL MEAL WHICH HAD BEEN ORDERED BUT WAS NOT ABOARD THE ACFT. AUTHS MET THE ACFT AND SEVERAL WITNESSES SPOKE WITH THEM WHEN PAX WAS ARRESTED.
Narrative: PAX DID NOT RECEIVE A SPECIAL MEAL. I TOLD HIM WE DID NOT HAVE THE MEAL. HE VERBALLY, AND PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED ME. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE TO STOP THIS ABUSE ON FLT ATTENDANTS. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATES THE PAX WAS QUITE UPSET AND AFTER RPTR EXPLAINED THE SIT, HE WALKED AWAY TO CONTINUE HIS DUTIES. THE PAX GOT UP AND YELLED AT HIM, THEN HIT HIM FROM THE BACK. PAX BEGAN YELLING OBSCENITIES. RPTR WENT FORWARD TO TELL THE CAPT OF THE INCIDENT AND AUTHS MET THE ACFT. THERE WERE 3 WITNESSES WHO SPOKE WITH THE POLICE AND GAVE THEIR STATEMENTS. RPTR FILED A COMPANY RPT AND RECEIVED A CALL FROM HIS SUPVR COMPLIMENTING HIM ON HIS HANDLING OF THE SIT. HE IS NOT AWARE OF ANY FURTHER ACTION.
