Narrative:
Pacific radar sector at socal approach had a radar scope failure. Pacific controls sna departures, overflts between lax and san, MCAS el toro arrs, and VFR traffic up and down the coast. This is the third radar failure at this position in 1 1/2 months.

Title: TRACON CTLR COMPLAINT ON RADAR SCOPE FAILURE AT THE PACIFIC RADAR SECTOR AT SOCAL TRACON. THE SECTOR HANDLES SNA DEPS AND ARRS AND OVER TFC IN THE SNA AREA. RPTR CITES THIS AS THE THIRD FAILURE IN THE LAST 45 DAYS.
