Narrative:
WX at anc was 1 1/4 mi blowing snow, -3 degrees C, wind 330 degrees at 14 KTS. At top of descent captain elected to conduct CAT ii autoland approach and landing. Aircraft broke out at approximately 600 ft. Captain assumed control and continued with normal touchdown at approach end of runway. Captain selected reverse thrust with normal indications. At approximately 80-100 KTS aircraft began drifting right to left and captain disconnected autoplt. The braking action was nil although it had been reported fair. Captain continued using reverse thrust, braking, and rudder. Aircraft continued to drift to left side of runway. Captain continued using right reverse thrust to keep aircraft on runway. The left main mounts struck and removed 5 runway edge lights. Aircraft stopped and cleared runway at taxiway D in anc. Captain requested maintenance inspection prior to taxi. Maintenance inspection revealed no damage to aircraft. Captain wrote up incident in logbook and maintenance inspected same with no discrepancies.
