Narrative:
During climb out, the flight attendants in the aft galley informed us that there was a lot of water coming out from under the #3 and #4 coffee makers. The flight engineer went to inspect. The flight engineer verified the situation. None of us had ever experienced this situation. We consulted the flight manual and found no reference. We turned off the galley power to eliminate any electrical hazard. One of the cabin attendants had encountered this situation and said that if we could get the coffee maker out from the galley, that there was a shutoff valve. The flight engineer returned with a screwdriver and got the #3 coffee maker out, but the spillage continued. #4 coffee maker required a tool that we do not carry. The first officer went to the galley and was able with much effort to get the retaining bolt off and the #4 coffee maker out. At that time the water stopped. This could have been a critical situation if the water had not stopped. We had no guidance in this matter. Something should be in our manual and the proper tools issued and carried.

Title: A B727 FLC HAD A WATER LEAK BEHIND THE AFT COFFEE MAKERS THAT THEY MANAGED TO SHUT OFF WITH SOME DIFFICULTY. THEIR ACR'S FLT MANUAL HAD NO INFO ON THIS PROB AND THEY HAD NO TOOL KIT ONBOARD TO REMOVE THE COFFEE MAKERS.
