Narrative:
Repositioned my airplane to receive gas for my next trip. The FAA representatives started to ask me questions without properly identing themselves. And while I was taking care of my airplane preflight for the next flight he continued to ask questions. I started to get upset with this inspector's rudeness. When I went to return my airplane to my parking spot down the tarmac a few hundred ft, the spacing was very tight. Distracted by my thought about how upset the FAA inspector seemed to be, at me, I put myself in a situation that was not good. I had taxied or crept up too close to our other airplane, a piper navajo. I reached for the idle cut-off to shut the engines down. I was also watching the right wingtip and inched too close to the other airplane. I hit the brake pedal and the airplane bounced forward and bumped the other airplane. No damage to my airplane but the other wingtip received a slight dent. The FAA inspector then proceeded to make a report. Our organization mechanic inspected my airplane and signed it off to fly. The other airplane, the inspectors wanted it checked before returning to service. This problem arose because many distraction and egos.

THE FAA INSPECTOR THEN PROCEEDED TO MAKE A RPT. OUR ORGANIZATION MECH INSPECTED MY AIRPLANE AND SIGNED IT OFF TO FLY. THE OTHER AIRPLANE, THE INSPECTORS WANTED IT CHKED BEFORE RETURNING TO SVC. THIS PROB AROSE BECAUSE MANY DISTR AND EGOS.
