Narrative:
East final radar position radar scope noted 'serial #XXX' on upper right front side of scope presents a situation of chronic unsatisfactory maintenance which may contribute to an accident or incident. When sweep switch is in 'dectred' position, the entire radar display (targets, alpha numerics, map) drifts, presenting a moving display. No less than 3 times in the last several months, this scope has been called 'OTS' due to this problem, put back in service, yet continues to exhibit this unsatisfactory condition.
