Narrative:
While approaching to land and conducting final prelndg checklist, 2 of 3 landing gear position lights indicated gear was down and locked, but light for right main gear did not illuminate. I initiated a go around. Tower controller said gear appeared down. Attempts to test fuses, light bulb did not solve problem. Attempts to recycle gear, utilize hand pump did not solve problem. Conducted another tower fly-by and tower again indicated gear 'appeared' down. Gear warning horn would not sound when I pulled throttles back at altitude while attempting to troubleshoot. On third approach, convinced that the problem was with the light and not the gear itself, I landed without incident. Emergency vehicles were standing by and I was questioned by an airport official after landing.
