Narrative:
Failure to set altimeter to 29.92 at FL180 resulted in leveling off with field altimeter setting which resulted in being too high. I caught it just as the controller queried me about the altitude. My first officer somewhat distraction me by fiddling with the radar and we missed the FL180 callout. I sincerely apologize for any discrepancy this may have caused and I realize the seriousness of the error. There were no immediate directives from ATC.
