Narrative:
After tower cleared me to land on runway 14R, did not receive any xmissions for 1 min. I realized that my #1 receiver became inoperative therefore I switched to #2 receiver and resumed my communications with tower. No traffic conflict.

Title: PLT OF A C172 NOTICED A LACK OF HEARING TWR FOR 1 MIN OR SO, AFTER BEING CLRED TO LAND, AND RETUNED HIS #2 RADIO FOR TWR AND AGAIN RE-ESTABLISHED COMS.
Narrative: AFTER TWR CLRED ME TO LAND ON RWY 14R, DID NOT RECEIVE ANY XMISSIONS FOR 1 MIN. I REALIZED THAT MY #1 RECEIVER BECAME INOP THEREFORE I SWITCHED TO #2 RECEIVER AND RESUMED MY COMS WITH TWR. NO TFC CONFLICT.
