Narrative:
Loss of 350 ft (from initial approach altitude of 5000 ft). Some sort of insect flew from inside windshield into my eyes while 'hand flying' runway 26R ILS approach, descending to 5000 ft. Finally killed insect but blew through the 5000 ft mark. Next time I'll put aircraft on autoplt and level, then attack the intruder.
