Narrative:
Aircraft landing runway 22R (ewr) visual approach in VMC conditions. Winds 300 degrees gusting to 20 KTS. First officer was flying. Aircraft was flown to the runway on the VASI lights, on proper glide path, red over white, to touchdown. At approximately 500 ft AGL, tower was reporting +10 KT wind at 500 ft AGL. There was no noticeable change in speed in cockpit. The aircraft was controllable through all phases of the approach. At touchdown the aircraft ballooned approximately 5 ft. The first officer corrected with a wings level pitch attitude. Then right wing went down (fell) and scraped the right landing light. No injury to passenger or crew. Aircraft was inspected, light replaced and returned to service in approximately 2 hours of occurrence.

Title: FO OF AN ACR MLG MOMENTARILY LOST CTL OF ACFT DURING LNDG IN A GUSTY XWIND RESULTING IN THE R WING SCRAPING THE RWY AND BREAKING THE WING NAV LIGHT.
Narrative: ACFT LNDG RWY 22R (EWR) VISUAL APCH IN VMC CONDITIONS. WINDS 300 DEGS GUSTING TO 20 KTS. FO WAS FLYING. ACFT WAS FLOWN TO THE RWY ON THE VASI LIGHTS, ON PROPER GLIDE PATH, RED OVER WHITE, TO TOUCHDOWN. AT APPROX 500 FT AGL, TWR WAS RPTING +10 KT WIND AT 500 FT AGL. THERE WAS NO NOTICEABLE CHANGE IN SPD IN COCKPIT. THE ACFT WAS CONTROLLABLE THROUGH ALL PHASES OF THE APCH. AT TOUCHDOWN THE ACFT BALLOONED APPROX 5 FT. THE FO CORRECTED WITH A WINGS LEVEL PITCH ATTITUDE. THEN R WING WENT DOWN (FELL) AND SCRAPED THE R LNDG LIGHT. NO INJURY TO PAX OR CREW. ACFT WAS INSPECTED, LIGHT REPLACED AND RETURNED TO SVC IN APPROX 2 HRS OF OCCURRENCE.
