Narrative:
Apparently frg has observation equipment on field that could let aircraft know about field conditions after the tower is closed. When we called ny FSS in the past, they don't report airport (frg) conditions after hours. Yet FSDO can use this information for enforcement of visibility and sky conditions. Giving pilots this information after hours by phone through FSS would better serve air safety.
