Narrative:

We were cleared to descend to 9000 ft. Upon reaching 9000 ft, the captain and I both noticed that we were exceeding 250 KTS. We began to slow the aircraft at which time ATC advised us to execute a right 360 degree turn to reintercept the arrival. We were in the process of completing the descent check, but we should have both been paying more attention to flying the airplane. Supplemental information from acn 406420: I think this occurred due to the flight crew's lack of sleep the night before on a reduced rest overnight with only 8 hours off duty.
