Narrative:
I was doing touch and goes at pdk. Runway 20R, upon receiving the cleared to touch and go, I cut power to simulate an emergency approach to landing. I did not put the gear down so as to ensure making it to the runway, but forgot to put it down on final and subsequently had a gear up landing. How it arose was due to change of routine, I always put the gear down upon the first gumps check, but decided not to, to experiment how the gear would affect the glide distance. Also I was too preoccupied with the approach and forgot to do a final gumps. Contributing factors: it was XY00 pm after a long day's work. I had been doing touch and goes for awhile. I was tired. Also I did not have lunch nor dinner. But main factor is I was stupid.

Title: PLT OF AN SMA PRACTICING EMER LNDGS NEGLECTS TO EXTEND GEAR.
Narrative: I WAS DOING TOUCH AND GOES AT PDK. RWY 20R, UPON RECEIVING THE CLRED TO TOUCH AND GO, I CUT PWR TO SIMULATE AN EMER APCH TO LNDG. I DID NOT PUT THE GEAR DOWN SO AS TO ENSURE MAKING IT TO THE RWY, BUT FORGOT TO PUT IT DOWN ON FINAL AND SUBSEQUENTLY HAD A GEAR UP LNDG. HOW IT AROSE WAS DUE TO CHANGE OF ROUTINE, I ALWAYS PUT THE GEAR DOWN UPON THE FIRST GUMPS CHK, BUT DECIDED NOT TO, TO EXPERIMENT HOW THE GEAR WOULD AFFECT THE GLIDE DISTANCE. ALSO I WAS TOO PREOCCUPIED WITH THE APCH AND FORGOT TO DO A FINAL GUMPS. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: IT WAS XY00 PM AFTER A LONG DAY'S WORK. I HAD BEEN DOING TOUCH AND GOES FOR AWHILE. I WAS TIRED. ALSO I DID NOT HAVE LUNCH NOR DINNER. BUT MAIN FACTOR IS I WAS STUPID.
