Narrative:

After completing 8's on pylons as part of commercial training, instructor pulled engine for simulated emergency. I set up a base leg for a field near a farm house. Turned final and set up for landing in pasture. Upon determining that I would have overshot the field, at about 100 ft AGL, instructor took control and initiated recovery. Instructor's view of farm house blocked by aircraft structure so he turned toward it instead of away. I had the house in view. Incident caused by poor crew coordination.
