Narrative:
Radar on 80 mi scale for WX. Heard 'traffic, traffic' alert from TCASII. Target seemed to be at 10-11 O'clock and 500 ft above and descending. Almost immediately changed to RA instructing 'descend, descend.' did so to FL325 and heard 'clear of conflict' from TCASII. Informed ATC and returned to FL330. ATC said no problem.

Title: AN MD80 AT FL330 RECEIVED A TCASII RA TO DSND DUE TO TFC AT FL335. THE MD80 DSNDED TO FL325 UNTIL CLR OF TFC, THEN RETURNED TO FL330.
Narrative: RADAR ON 80 MI SCALE FOR WX. HEARD 'TFC, TFC' ALERT FROM TCASII. TARGET SEEMED TO BE AT 10-11 O'CLOCK AND 500 FT ABOVE AND DSNDING. ALMOST IMMEDIATELY CHANGED TO RA INSTRUCTING 'DSND, DSND.' DID SO TO FL325 AND HEARD 'CLR OF CONFLICT' FROM TCASII. INFORMED ATC AND RETURNED TO FL330. ATC SAID NO PROB.
