Narrative:
FL350 near marte, #3 oil temperature gauge failed and #3 fuel heat valve light on. Executed abnormals without success. Reduced power on #3 engine and fuel heat light went out. Requested direct iah for possible divert. Approaching iah, fuel calculated enough to get to dfw. Landed dfw without problems.

Title: A B727-200 IN CRUISE AT FL350 HAD THE #3 ENG OIL TEMP INDICATOR FAIL WITH THE FUEL HEAT VALVE OPEN. ENG OPERATED AT REDUCED PWR AND FUEL HEAT LIGHT WENT OUT.
