Narrative:
I was PNF on flight from phl. It was my responsibility to receive clearance via ACARS. Pre departure clearance did not work since this was a rerte for us from phl clearance delivery. I copied the rerte quickly, informed captain (PF) and we departed phl. During cruise, I apparently misread what was written down and had captain navigation what I thought was the correct routing. ATC center controller noticed we were not flying route as he expected and corrected our heading and restated our clearance. I do not believe any traffic conflict resulted and we continued the flight uneventfully. I personally contributed to event by not reading back verbatim the change in routing to clearance delivery. Next time I will make sure I do.
