Narrative:
Flying at close to 500 ft AGL, a flock of geese were at 12 O'clock in a wide pattern. I tried to go under them, and clipped a tension wire.

Title: STUDENT PLT OF A PIPER CHEROKEE PA28-181 STRUCK A HIGH TENSION WIRE DURING EVASIVE ACTION TO AVOID A FLOCK OF GEESE.
Narrative: FLYING AT CLOSE TO 500 FT AGL, A FLOCK OF GEESE WERE AT 12 O'CLOCK IN A WIDE PATTERN. I TRIED TO GO UNDER THEM, AND CLIPPED A TENSION WIRE.
