Narrative:

I aborted a maximum gross takeoff at sea 15 seconds into brake release because the copilot and I did not agree that a takeoff clearance was received from sea tower. Speed at abort was 20 KTS, and I turned off at the first available taxiway. Tower did confirm that we were, in fact, cleared for takeoff. I elected to err on the side of safety. Because of the aircraft high gross weight. I taxied back for a full length takeoff.
