Narrative:
Flight attendants in main cabin reported a haze in the aft of the aircraft. The aft smoke detectors went off and could not be silenced unless the captain turned off the system. Flight attendants in back noticed an electrical type smell. All was reported to the captain and he decided to divert to phx. Landing and taxi-in were normal. All crew and passenger deplaned as normal.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT REGARDING A B757 WHICH DIVERTED DUE TO HAZE IN THE CABIN, SMOKE DETECTORS ACTIVATING AND AN ELECTRICAL TYPE SMELL.
Narrative: FLT ATTENDANTS IN MAIN CABIN RPTED A HAZE IN THE AFT OF THE ACFT. THE AFT SMOKE DETECTORS WENT OFF AND COULD NOT BE SILENCED UNLESS THE CAPT TURNED OFF THE SYS. FLT ATTENDANTS IN BACK NOTICED AN ELECTRICAL TYPE SMELL. ALL WAS RPTED TO THE CAPT AND HE DECIDED TO DIVERT TO PHX. LNDG AND TAXI-IN WERE NORMAL. ALL CREW AND PAX DEPLANED AS NORMAL.
