Narrative:

VFR aircraft transitioned through the arrival corridor at 6500 ft. This was in an area where arrs transition through 7000 ft to 5000 ft. I provided vectors to avoid the traffic. These aircraft are in dangerous position -- especially during heavy arrival traffic. Implementation of class B airspace would alleviate the problem.

Title: CVG APCH CTLR PERCEIVES THAT CHANGING AND EXPANDING CTLED AIRSPACE AROUND CVG WOULD PROVIDE A GREATER LEVEL OF SAFETY TO PARTICIPATING TFC.

Narrative: VFR ACFT TRANSITIONED THROUGH THE ARR CORRIDOR AT 6500 FT. THIS WAS IN AN AREA WHERE ARRS TRANSITION THROUGH 7000 FT TO 5000 FT. I PROVIDED VECTORS TO AVOID THE TFC. THESE ACFT ARE IN DANGEROUS POS -- ESPECIALLY DURING HVY ARR TFC. IMPLEMENTATION OF CLASS B AIRSPACE WOULD ALLEVIATE THE PROB.
