Narrative:
Emergency landing. When selecting flaps 5 degrees from flaps 1 degree, EICAS message 'trailing edge flaps disagreement' appeared. Accomplished all appropriate checklist items, declared an emergency, requested equipment to stand by, and reintercepted the ILS -- landing flaps 20 degrees per the checklist. This was the third repeat malfunction of the flaps on this aircraft in as many days.

Narrative: EMER LNDG. WHEN SELECTING FLAPS 5 DEGS FROM FLAPS 1 DEG, EICAS MESSAGE 'TRAILING EDGE FLAPS DISAGREEMENT' APPEARED. ACCOMPLISHED ALL APPROPRIATE CHKLIST ITEMS, DECLARED AN EMER, REQUESTED EQUIP TO STAND BY, AND REINTERCEPTED THE ILS -- LNDG FLAPS 20 DEGS PER THE CHKLIST. THIS WAS THE THIRD REPEAT MALFUNCTION OF THE FLAPS ON THIS ACFT IN AS MANY DAYS.
