Narrative:
Climbing to an assigned altitude of 14000 ft, using LNAV and VNAV modes, the aircraft autoplt flew through the 14000 ft altitude. The autoplt was disconnected, and the climb stopped at 14300 ft, then the aircraft was descended back to 14000 ft and the autoplt was re-engaged. No further problems were encountered.

Title: AN ACR LGT OVERSHOT ITS ASSIGNED ALT BY 300 FT WHEN THE ALT CAPTURE FUNCTION OF THE AUTOPLT MALFUNCTIONS.
Narrative: CLBING TO AN ASSIGNED ALT OF 14000 FT, USING LNAV AND VNAV MODES, THE ACFT AUTOPLT FLEW THROUGH THE 14000 FT ALT. THE AUTOPLT WAS DISCONNECTED, AND THE CLB STOPPED AT 14300 FT, THEN THE ACFT WAS DSNDED BACK TO 14000 FT AND THE AUTOPLT WAS RE-ENGAGED. NO FURTHER PROBS WERE ENCOUNTERED.
