Narrative:
While mia maintenance was working off several open items in log, they had logbook. After maintenance complete, 1 maintenance person came into cockpit to inquire about a weak PA system. We tested the system and maintenance person left. They gave me the log just prior to departure. I checked all the items signed off except 1 write-up. 'The PA' was on the page underneath the 2 cream colored page dividers. Maintenance in atl discovered during check that item was not signed off.
