Narrative:
New york approach, on vectors northeast of proud intersection, 4000 ft MSL, reacted to RA instructing a climb. RA lasted 2-5 seconds and aircraft reached 4200 ft MSL when RA stopped. Returned to assigned altitude, 4000 ft. Controller advised no traffic and no conflict.
